We have a multisite with a large number of sites (hundred plus). Editors would love to share images between each other so they don't need to re-upload them again and again.

Do you have such challenge?

How do you solve it now? Is it worth of solving?

Decide on a standard approach for embedding media in Drupal 8 when authoring in the Markdown format.

Some 12 years back she thought to be a Webmedia, an online journalist for local and global audience. Intention was to post tons of videos, texts and pictures. Just note technology was hard to reach, costly for common man and woman living in India.

The target was simple a person in last line of society wanted to use Internet to become media like press and tv with free and freely available technology, whose income was around USD 200 / INR 10K monthly.

For those not following the project on d.o., there's an effort to port Station to Drupal 8 and help sustain it via crowdfunding and building client sites in the open. Contributors, supporters, and those who may benefit from using such a solution...please don't hesitate to get involved!

Is there a simple way to use images on Google Drive in a Drupal 7 site to display them to anonymous users?

I wrote a custom drush command that takes files in a directory and copies them to the public:// filesytem of a Drupal installation (OpenScholar, to be specific). While the files are copied over and entries are made in the file_managed DB table, these files aren't appearing in the 'My Library' tab of the media browser. So the question is: what cause files to appear in 'My Library'?

tengo el problema de que al insertar una imagen en el campo imagen de un tipo de contenido con su alt y su title, al publicarla, estos dos campos desaparecen.

He tenido instalado el modulo media y lo he desinstalado.
¿Puede deberse a eso?
¿Como puedo solucionarlo?

Es una web con bastante contenido y para el SEO es catastrófico.

I was trying to get Media going so I could start playing with it, and I went to the Media project page, looked through the required modules and installed them individually, then installed the Media module. I went for the 7.x-2.0-alpha2 version because I'm in the Media group and noticed that a lot of people said they were using this version just fine.

I went to add a photo to my sample animal profile (content type), and after I clicked select I got this error:

I'm trying to get DS to group my search results by type. I'm using Media and File Entity and Solr indexes images, videos (youtube references) and articles (nodes).

DS groups the search result and manages to group articles and image files as it should. Videos on the other hand fall under the category Other. Ideally, I'd like to specify wrapper and title on the GROUP BY TYPE SETTINGS area on the DS admin for search results.

I guess I'm missing something blatantly obvious somewhere but please, a hint?
