Ayer nos reunimos por primera vez algunas de las personas que trabajamos o nos interesa Drupal en Córdoba. La reunión salio muy bien, hubo un clima de mucho entusiasmo, pudimos charlar y vernos aunque la mayoría ya nos conocíamos.

Pudimos definir mas detalles sobre la realización de un DrupalCamp en Córdoba para finales de Agosto o Septiembre y se aportaron muy buenas ideas, quedamos en juntarnos de nuevo para ya definir los pasos concretos a seguir y dividirnos las tareas.

so close.. would be good to get a teaser for that at Drupal Camp..
and likewise to do something in UK around the same time.. maybe for less technical people..

Lots of cool things happenings, suggest we schedule time for online conf to introduce everyone and see what's going on.. Dan..

I want to extend an invitation to Seattle DUG's upcoming Drupal MiniCamp. We are running it in BarCamp style, so if you have something you want help with, here's a great chance to get it! This is a one day event (Feb. 21), but we'll be running lightening talks where people will pitch their ideas for the Camp two nights before at our monthly meeting (Feb. 19).

A lot has happened since the dutch/belgian drupal community met on the drupaljam in breda to kick off the organization of the next drupalcon in Maastricht, Netherlands.
What first started as a wicked idea from Bert Boerland at the entrance of the Szeged venue, has now shaped into the current proposal that has been submitted to the Drupal Association.

I would like to find out how many people would be interested in hosting a Drupalcon 2009 in Cape Town. I think that it would be cool to have one here because there are a lot of Drupal developers in South Africa and Wordpress just had their Wordcamp in Cape Town as well.

So what do you think? I am very interested to hear what you have to say.
