I got interested in drupal ~2years ago... I was running a mediawiki site, and just felt like my site was missing out on many things every time I heard about/saw a great drupal site - and started poking around drupal.org, lullabot, drupalbythedrop, etc... the more I looked into drupal and it's HUGE community, the more potential I saw in expanding my website using drupal. I offically outgrew mediawiki after spending countless weeks/days/hours on lucene-search2 + MWsearch - I finally gave up on mediawiki and dove head-first into all things drupal -> and since then, I've happily never looked back! all I can say is I love everything about this project, the open source philosophy, et all. now, I am here to stay... I look forward to learning many new things here in drupal-land!

Currently I run a great drupal 6.xx based wiki site @ my place of work. we use the page for a knowledgebase, note storage/distribution, forums, and have been creating all sorts of neat tools... currently I am learning the ins and outs of themeing, jQuery, and PHP templating and module development.
