I am new to Drupal and I am computer science student and using Drupal 7 for my final year project where i need to create online survey.. so can anyone help which module would be appropriate?? I had look on webforms but for Drupal 7 its only beta version..:( can anyone help me??

I'm not familiar with the modules available for Drupal 7 however there is no survey module (yet) for version 6 so there is not likely to be one for version 7. I'm working on a survey module for Drupal 6 which will be ready for an initial release soon, and if all goes well will be ported to 7 eventually but I doubt this will be soon enough to be useful too you.

Hey man thanks for replying but is there anything something like where user can answer question and once they hit submit at the end i can store result of prequestionnaire and post questionaire ? because i am using this as my final year project... and i need to hand in within 3 months so i m really in trouble... is there anything i can??

Not so far as I'm aware, other than Webform. There was a project proposed for integrating Limesurvey into Drupal but I'm not sure of that ever got off the ground.
