Hi guys!!!
I've been cooking an idea about massive Drupal training in Mexico City among engineering and science students. It consist in three phases
1) Crowd-source a role centered Drupal learning curricula from existing sources and the community.
2) Marketing and promote the course + remote tutoring to students.
3) Evaluate graduated students, offer internships and future job opportunnities. Repeat
I would like to know your opinion about the idea and its chances of success, overall the first phase implies people tagging Drupal contents on a web site in order to tell other people what are the best materials to tackle the Drupal Learning Curve.
Do you think that would be possible?
I would appreciate your comments!!

Great initiative, In MHO use MOOCs to channel learning
Ricardo
I believe your document is very valuable and down to earth (achievable). Congratulations!
I definitely agree with the use of a MOOC platform to help students to focus their learning instead of using the traditional Drupal learn by error; having a lot of curated documentation is a great improvement, but if we are able to create a learning path like Node one's four weeks of Drupal maybe by building from scratch a valuable solution with an Instructor, syllabus, reference materials, homeworks etc. Perhaps even going to a industry recognizable certification like Symfony's that would help students to get job offers, that would be great.
Other point of a MOOC style earning is that it will help students outside Mexico City, where there are less chances to get in touch with technologies like Drupal.
