Welcome
DrupalGroup@Yale is a venue for learning more about Drupal and best practices for using Drupal at Yale. We use a hands-on approach to help those in the Yale Community solve issues and find solutions through our own experience or as a consolidated research effort.
About DrupalGroup@Yale
Welcome to the DrupalGroups@Yale!
Our goal is to present the Drupal Community at Yale with a venue for learning more about Drupal and best practices for using Drupal at Yale. DrupalGroups@Yale is a community effort and what is presented today is only meant to initiate discussion and participation.
DrupalGroups@Yale members will have a range of user knowledge, from very experienced to beginner. We encourage all to participate regardless of your level of expertise. Please register, get involved to help make this group grow so we can all learn from what others are doing.
Remember, this group is a community effort. Please participate to help this group succeed.
How it works
DrupalGroup@Yale offers an organic discussion and hands-on work experience so each meeting provides an opportunity to solve a particular problem for a specific University site need. Topics will be suggested by DrupalGroup members based on a need for a specific site/task. Solutions will be shared by others with experience on the topic in a "show ‘n tell" type format. In the event that no one has experience with a specific topic, we will use the time to research and work towards a solution. We will work towards a higher-level, hands-on discussion, focused on documenting standard approaches to common problems to benefit the University and Drupal Community as a whole. DrupalGroup members interested in attending the meeting will be encouraged to bring laptops and work directly so solve problems during the group.
Please suggest a topic that you are interested in or would like to share on our discussion board. We will do our best to schedule someone who has experience with the topic.
This group is a community effort. Please participate to help this group succeed.
