Just saw this publication from the ALA:
http://www.techsource.ala.org/ltr/drupal-in-libraries.html
I have yet to read it, but will pick up a copy soon -- the sample of the text gives a decent idea of what the book is about.
Cheers,
Bill

Could be a good way to get
Could be a good way to get some other people on board since it's targeting such a specific group. There did seem to be a bunch of drupal for Lib's people at DCB08 who were somewhat under served (imho).

Any progress here?
Hey folks,
I was just wondering have there been any developments w.r.t. getting a post on the front page of d.o. about this?
Omar
Almost ready
I have something pretty much finished. I just wanted to get Chris (the co-author) to look it over and ok it but he is currently at GenCon doing some presentations for ALA.

I'd love to assist with any info I might provide as well, as an interviewee. And if the front page post is about Drupal and libraries in general, I'd be able to contribute quite a bit.
We're doing lots of awesome stuff with Drupal in libraries. A story about a project I'm currently involved with (using Drupal, though they unfortunately don't mention it in the story) at the Idaho Commission for Libraries was picked up by the AP: http://www.ktvb.com/news/localnews/stories/ktvbn-jul2408-librarian_high_....
Cool stuff happening with Drupal in libraries.

It's available in Ebsco, if you have access
For some reason, each section is its own PDF file. Here's the search:
