Let's do a Drupal meetup on Wednesday, November 12th! It's been a while since the last one and we (Lee and Christefano) would love to play host for another one.

Topics
This group is just getting off the ground and we're open to any and all ideas for topics. A popular format we've seen in other Drupal groups are lightning talks, where everyone has an opportunity to spend 5-10 minutes to do a demo, ask other attendees questions about a Drupal problem, etc.

We're meeting at Java Station, a quiet and low key café on the corner of Hollister Ave. and Arboleda Rd. Their phone number is (805) 681-0202.

Sign up by logging in and clicking the "Signup" button below. Knowing how many people are interested in attending can help us better select good locations in the future. People who sign up will also have last minute details (if there are any) sent to them before the meetup.
Also, if a new version of the Signup module is released (and installed on groups.drupal.org) in time before the meetup, you might receive an automatic email reminder a day or so before the event. If you'd like that to happen, please help test the 5.x-2.x-dev version that now includes this functionality.

Drupal module or website demos
A favorite subject of mine that I can talk about are some modules and techniques that tune Drupal for high performance.
I'm also happy to do a demo of one or more of our Drupal projects, like Digital Dollhouse, callna.me or Projectverse.
