PHPカンファレンスの関係で日程をずらしました。
やり方もちょっと変えて、最初の自己紹介は最近のアップデートも含め喋りたい人はLTをやっていただく。
プレゼンテーションは今回PHPの本をたくさん書かれている大垣さん

何か聞きたいことがある方は事前に教えてください。
最後はq-chanの提案だったと思うのですが、たしか。で、内容はグループに分かれて各自興味があるところをグループで話し合ったりあるいは実際にサイトを作ってみたりして最後に発表するという形。今までいろいろな方にプレゼンをやっていただいたのですが、聞いているだけだったので本当にやってみてできるかどうか試して見たかった。でも自分一人でやるのはちょっと不安だったという方もおおいのではないでしょうか？ちょっとみんなで手を動かしてなにか作ってみませんか？ ピザやビールを飲みながら
サーバーも必要があれば用意します。（さすがにインターネット上のサーバーはむずかしいかもしれませんが）

名古屋に行く際にも kuwamura さんにもお聞きしたけど、PHP についてどこから手を付けていいのやらわからなくて。
＃kuwamuraさんが PHP のあんな権威だとは存じませんでした(^^ゞ
ってことで僕自身は初歩の初歩を聞きたいんですけど、それじゃほかのエキスパートの方々はつまらないですよねぇ。
実際に作ってみるのもいい案ですね。
っていうか、自分で作りかけのところをなんとかしないと。
そういう場所を見せて、「これこれこんなふうに作ったんだけど、このあとどうすればいいかわからない」みたいな話（質問）でもいいんでしょうか？
とりあえず思いつきで書き込み。

ちょっと難しいのかな。でもいつもいってるYLUG(Yokohama Linux User Grou)ではビールサーバーがある。しかも（ビール）サーバー管理者つき。でも、もうちょっと人数が集まらないと難しいかな。費用的に。なので次回はワインでも飲みましょう。コニャックも手に入ったよ。

そういえば（強引に話題を変えるのですが）Linux で Server といえば、先日の OSC Nagoya でもパンフ（例の Eucalyptus 絡みの）をもらってきましたが、クラウドサーバーが Ubuntu（Server版）でも割と簡単に（でもないのかな？）使えるようになりそうで、楽しみですね。
この分野では Amazon EC2/S3 関連のが話題の中心ですけど、ひそかに Google に期待してたりしてします。
＃あ、僕が知らないだけですでにある？(^^ゞ
あと、Apple が巨大データセンター用敷地を購入した、なんて話題も最近あって、Mac ユーザーとしてはこれまた期待してたり。

正式 グループ名 投票
このスレッドで最近グループ名を次の集会で再検討しようということが挙がってました。
I recall very recently that we were discussing about voting on an official group name next meeting.

JDUGで即決定だと思いますが、これを集会始まりにささっと決めちゃいませんか。
I assume that this will be voted and agreed on very fast, so let's slip this one through.
(code of conduct discussions will not go fast unless we discuss more online, plus we have no organizational structure in the group.. don't have a board, and even if we reached a conclusion, besides the obvious it is my view that it will not reflect any decisions worthy for the entire group in the long term, as COD is not a simple topic when pursued for our situations in the past, and at this point I'm assuming that only a few of us are interested)(p.s. I only have to gain, but it's too boring of a topic, btw.)

PHPプレゼンお待ちしてます。個人的には過去に文字化けで基本以外で相当手こずりました（メールをDBに、フランス語メールと昔の日本エンコードSJIS？のメールがDBで文字化け）
（大手は最終的な問題が出たとき文字化けどう対処してるのでしょうか？一つ一つRegexで？）。
UbuntuServer に DrupalSolr
Osonoiさん、
ここのページで UbuntuServer に DrupalSolr の環境作り丁寧に説明されてるのですが、いきなり下記の文のように、いつのまにかYOURDOMAINNAMEHERE とドメインがサーバに設定されてる事が想定されていて、ちょっと困っています（Unix初心者なんで）。これは本当にドメイン設定をしてくれという意味なのかわかりますか？もしそうであれば次回のミーティングで説明してもらえたら助かります。

at the instructions above, I'm stuck on it seems that all of a sudden the well written tutorial assumes that I can set /YOURDOMAINNAMEHERE/ . Can anyone give me any feedback, am I right in assuming that I should configure my domain at the server? If anyone can explain at the next meeting that'll be great.

さて文字コードですが、もうSJISはどっかいってくれー、もう世の中はUTFで決まりだー
と言う声もありますが、過去の資産を持っている方はこまりますよね。
でも多言語のときはUTF8にした方がいいでしょう。と教わりました。
この手のエキスパートを呼ぶこともできます。
文字コードの話はかなり奥が深いです。

Sorry for Osonoi, but JDUG, and the names which hint that this group is the ONLY and UNIQUE Drupal user group in Japan even if hinted clearly or not, are not accepted as our group name.
This is not my personal opinion but the important issue which the Japanese serious situation around Drupal concerns (and considering what the headquarter suggest)
Anyways, under the circumstance that the discussion hasn't been going actively at the thread (http://groups.drupal.org/node/24804), this is not the time to make any conclusions. As I said at the thread, maybe most members are not interested in the topic, I suppose :-p
DO NOT MAKE HASTE.
First of all, I MENTIONED VERY CLEARLY that I intended to make that thread so that I wanted to decide the NICKNAME, not the OFFICIAL name.
As someone pointed out somewhere very wisely (and very rarely :-p) that we don't have any kind of board and board members (someone sometimes wanted to be, wanted to pretend :-p) here, so how on earth are we able to decide official name?

I sincerely do wish that whether we shall vote on a group name online or not would be discussed at the meeting. If a vote takes place my vote is on JDUG.

おもしろそうですね。ミニプレゼンの後ミニグループにわかれて実際にやってみよう（やってみたい）という人も出てきそうですね。
ミニグループでいろいろ作業ができるように家からもう一台プロジェクターとモニター（２２インチぐらい）を持っていきます。

I'm not exactly a Tokyo expert either, but I guess you could get on Shinjuku-line to Kudan-shita, get on Touzai line (towards Urayasu) to Kiba.
