I could probably get a room on campus if there are people interested in starting a monthly (or every two months) Drupal Users Group.
Update: I finally got the reservation for the room on campus confirmed. I now have it booked for the 4th Tuesday of the Month, 7-8pm, for most of the rest of the year. First meeting is next week, on the 24th. I will create a new post with the details.

I'm in Montreal this week and my wife just passed her immigration interview so we'll likely have the visa in the mail today or early next week! I'll still be back and forth as much as possible. You are always providing good reasons to be there. :-)

Heh. I was in Vancouver for
Heh. I was in Vancouver for the OSCMS summit last year, so I only saw downtown. I have to say, though, that I liked how old people weren't afraid to be out and about on a rainy Tuesday night after 10:00pm. Can't say the same applies here, in the Bay Area. I still like our little thing we've got going here. Of course, in regard to my personal preference, the deck might be stacked against Vancouver in that I'm a native of the East Bay and haven't ever lived anywhere else.

Coolio! I suggest we do it during the workday - the theory here is that people who will come will be more professionaly focussed on Drupal than those who may not come. Also for those of us with outside lives (imagine - lives outside of Drupal) it is easier. I'm all over logistics etc. - so let me know what any "needs" are. I'm up for sooner rather than later - Week of April 16th or 23rd?
