Hi All
I have just launched www.onustraining.co.uk and would welcome any feedback anyone is willing to provide on it.
Thanks

Specs for a learning exercise module
I'm working on a site that will have lessons on HTML, CSS and such. Each lesson will be like this:

I'm planning on writing a Drupal module to manage the exercises. Any feedback?
Goals
Each exercise will have:
-
Title, e.g., Create a nav bar.
-
Description. Include link to a solution.
-
Learner's solution. Each learner will enter the text of a solution. Often it will just be a URL.
Writers workshop??? Share stories and feedback
Hi all,
I'm trying to build a writers community where would-be fiction writers can submit short stories, novellas, screenplays and solicit feedback from other users.
Ideally, we could have some kind of checkbox ratings (pass, consider, recommend on story, characters, writing, etc.) as well as a free-form text field for feedback.
I'd love to have it so members get to post one work up front, and then have to give feedback to three other writers for every other work they put up for workshopping.
Testing my latest Drupal creation
Hello Portlanders. Was great to meet y'all last month, my first meeting. A really nice bunch we've got! Looking forward to our next meeting tonight.
I've been busy for the last month finishing up my latest creation. It's an artist's portfolio site, with lots of attention given to theme development. It's a pretty one, and I want to keep it that way. Please help me test at : http://cyrusmejia.openfacestudio.com

New Site - Feedback...Showcase?
For the past several months I have been quietly learning about Drupal while simultaneously building our site.
We just finished the 1.0 version and I'm looking for some good, honest, yet constructive feedback: http://artsforla.org
I posted it on the main Drupal Showcase (http://drupal.org/forum/25) section as well - but since the LA folks seem so darn smart and savvy, I thought I'd through it out to you as well.
If there's another place I should post, please let me know as well.
I'm looking forward to meeting folks at the July meeting.
Cheers!
Looking for internationalization use cases
You have set up a website where multilanguage content submission and display was a requirement? What was the workflow specified by the customer? How were relations between different languages defined? Did you have all content translated? Was translation into specific languages a requirement for publication? Did you translate all navigation and even site level images? What was special about that project?
An internationalization use case consists of the requirements you faced, the user workflow you needed to support, and the interface you provided to the user. We are not interested in dirty implementation details (modules, PHP code, CSS) at this stage, only higher level information about how you built up multilingual content, interface, navigation and site design. You don't even need to talk about Drupal projects. If you have any other use cases to share, which you experienced out of Drupal, we are interested. The goal of the above questions are only to start you up, don't let them stop you from sharing your story in greater detail.
You can either post a new story to this group or comment on this story with your use case. Thanks for sharing!
Looking for greener grass on the other side of the fence
As part of our voyage to build up a solid base for Drupal core i18n, it is important to see, how other systems approach this problem. Maybe you have used some other system which has incredible i18n capabilities, or you have heard of one? Tell us the story, or just post a link to this system (as a comment), which we should learn from. I plan on setting up some of those you suggest (those that seem like the most valuable in this field), and write up my experiences, as well as the workflows, capabilities, features we can learn from.
Fields for profile information -- feedback
I added some custom profile fields in your account weeks ago now. There are two sections, business and personal. Below is a list of fields.
Business
* Organization (text)
* Organization website (URL)
* Organization profile (textarea)
Personal
* Real Name (text)
* Website (URL)
* Birthdate (date)
* About me (textarea) -- like a bio
So...feedback? More fields? Less fields? What should we add or remove?
Some other ideas:
* A "birthday" block would be a lot of fun.
* one of the "user tagging" modules would be great
* this groups site might be the right spot to also run a consultant/developer directory; profile fields could fit into this
