Drupal Meetup: Jordan's best Drupalists get together again!
Guest of Honour: Steve Rude (slantview - http://drupal.org/user/73183) - Drupal expert consultant from Chapter Three, in San Francisco.
What is a meetup and what should you get from it?
A meetup is an informal gathering of individuals interested in Drupal. It’s not generally a formal event. They are set up as, show up and let’s talk. Some people have found it better to have a designated organizer for a meetup to book the room and organize a presenter.
Time and Date: 20/10/2010 from 6:00 - 7:30 PM
Place: Jeeran Offices - Sweifieh

What? Drupal!
Come and meet Drupal developers from around Amman and one from the
U.S. We'll be talking about the Drupal sites in Amman, how they are
ran, and who the developers are. We'll also cover Drupal custom module
development, theming, and whatever else YOU want to talk about!
Advanced Drupal Training
Drupal's core and contributed modules provide a lot of functionality, but a highly customized site may require one or more custom modules to become exactly right. On these days you will learn how to identify your needs and search for a relevant module that you can help modify to meet your needs. For times when a closely matched module is not found, you will learn how to build a custom module from scratch. Explore Drupal's API to find the right hook or function call to modify the site to fit your needs.

Read morePalestine Activists Community
Hello all,
A few of us in the activist community trying to raise the profile of the Palestinian cause decided that we are way overdue a community website.
There are many organisations from Canada to Japan that are doing their thing trying to get more attention on the plight of the Palestinians.
However, all these efforts are completely disjointed and few people really know what's going on where.
So, this planned community hub/portal would do the following:
- connect activists/campaigners/interested people
- provide news (through feeds of useful websites)
