Just a friendly reminder that TODAY (Nov. 10) is the date of our monthly Portland Drupal User Group Meeting.
The meeting features two terrific presentations on the agenda:
1. "Understanding Drupal 7 API and Theming Changes" presented by Todd Tomlinson
2. "If Lovin' Userpoints is Wrong, I Don't Want to Be Right!" presented by Ben Kaplan
And of course, here are the meeting details:
Date: TODAY (Wednesday, Nov. 10)
Time: 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. (after the meeting, we head to Lucky Lab for drinks and conversation!)
Location: OpenSourcery offices (1636 NW Lovejoy St. Portland, OR 97209)
So it's time to start thinking about wrapping up work for the day (that brilliant module you're writing will still be there later) and heading over to the meeting to learn and chat with your Drupal friends. I'll see you soon!

Thanks for making this announcement. I am very excited to read the book, and I have been checking the APRESS web site every day since you posted this announcement to find the link to buy the book, but I don't see it. I thought maybe it would appear shortly, but it still isn't there. I am looking at:

On pages for other books there is a Buy e-Book button in the left column. Do you think that will be coming shortly? I tried searching for the book using the e-book catalog http://apress.com/ebook/catalog too, in case there were a separate page on the site specifically for the e-book, but the search result I clicked brought me back to the original URL I found (above).
I'm really excited to read this book, thanks in advance for directing everyone else and me to the link to buy the e-book!

Sorry - Apress led me astray
Hi Dan,
I'm so sorry - Apress led me astray. They listed the book as "Published" and when I told them that people were unable to download the book they said "what"? Apparently someone flipped the switch early (if they would only use Drupal's content scheduling capability!) At any rate - they are generating the camera ready version of the book - its all written. They're working hard to get it out by Dec. 15th. Sorry for the false start -- I thought it was done.
