Notes from our meeting tonight..

Yea it was just Christopher and I, but we decided on having a meeting anyway to figure out some things we had questions about and discussed some other resolutions to problems.
Some of the topics we dicussed:

• jQuery-
  Mostly we discussed and watched a video on jQuery. Neither one of us have experience in it and most of the jQuery that was gone over in the Lullabot class we went to was pretty advanced and we needed some more exposure to it to get a better grasp. Definitely needed to see more of how jQuery is implemented into Drupal. Ended up watching Lesson 12 on Drupal dojo.
• Pros and Cons of overriding primary links vs. hardcoding into the theme
  We discussed how Drupals over abundance of inserting classes and id's for every item and overriding them to have a more meaningful names and in the end... is cleaner and more semantic markup. Mostly pertaining to converting a non-Drupal site into one that is run on Drupal and not losing the names of the divs that are already in use.
• Styling the search form in Drupal 6
  After a good amount of searching we seemed to find a decent solution to fixing the problem of styling the search box and stripping the words in front of it for Drupal 6. Found some help here.
