Mercury Pantheon stack

Advomatic

I do not have experience with these companies nor the expertise to have an opinion. If you do, please add to the discussion. Many of us are would like to hear from you.

+1 for Hot Drupal

I've had very good experiences with Hot Drupal and would recommend them to folks who don't want to deal with the hassle of maintaining or configuring a VPS. You can get a jail shell for your account which lets you utilize drush and SVN for maintaining your site's code. Their tech team is helpful and responsive. It's not the cheapest hosting but I'd rather pay a little bit more for better service. They are also good at allocating enough memory for your site, I believe the cheapest plan has a PHP memory limit of 128M.

I also strongly recommend Hot Drupal. Their support is responsive, though they responses might appear kurt to some, they err on the side of server performance over fluff. And they're based in our fair state.
