Dirty Dave's Room Reservation
Sorry, I didn't reserve a room yet at Dirty Dave's. Per their website, you need to have a group of 10 to 15 people to reserve a room and must order food or drink within the restaurant--no outside stuff. I'll call and make reservations for 10 (even if we don't have 10) today for the 6th.
Hope everyone has a great holiday--just in case people are taking off for vacation next week.

Dirty Dave Problem / Drupal 7 Party Vote
OK, so I finally called Dirty Dave's Pizza today and the gentleman I spoke to said that we have to have at least 15 people (not 10 to 15 as mentioned on their website) to get a reservation. He did say that its "first come/first serve" if we want to take a chance. So, my question to the group now is: Do we want to roll the dice and go to Dirty Dave's on the 6th at 7:00 or look for somewhere else?
Also, did everyone see that Drupal 7 is officially being "released" on January 5th! This being said, there are a growing numbers of "Drupal 7 Release Parties" forming all around the globe? Do we want to officially turn our January 6th's meeting into a release party and post it on the Drupal 7 Release Party site (http://www.drupal7releaseparty.org/)? Here is link to a poll to submit your vote: http://groups.drupal.org/node/114614
Hope everyone has a safe holiday.

It's a big enough place that
It's a big enough place that we should be ok on a Thursday...did you find out whether they have wifi? If not, then maybe we should look for somewhere else, though.
I totally think we should list our meetup as a Drupal 7 party -- might even get some folks who wouldn't otherwise have noticed us. :)
Dirty Dave/ 7 Party
I am no expert on Oly/Lacy, but there are lots of places other than Dirty Dave's. I don't think there should be too much of a problem to another place.
As to the Drupal 7 Party, we might as well join the fun.

Sorry, I'm Heading to Tacoma -- Not Going to Dirty Dave's
Since no one has said anything for the last 2 weeks (or longer), I would say our meeting set for tomorrow night is a no-go? Personally, I'm heading up to Tacoma and attending the meeting/party up there. Hopefully this isn't the end of our Olympia Drupal Group, but no one seems interesting in posting items or sending responses (except Bruce and Elaine)? Hope we can do something either the end of January or beginning of February?
~ Brian
Bummer?
Are we meeting or not? I was planning to attend. Dotty that I've been out of touch but I've been away on vacation.
I know...bummer!
I don't know what Elaine (group organizer) wants to do about tonight, but I'm heading up to Tacoma (Parkway Tavern) since there hasn't been any responses. Hopefully we'll do something in February--I'll be there.

Can't make it
Looks like a scheduled a Good Food Bad Movie night accidentally ;)
Meeting
I was planning to attend. I have issues is Drupal 7 I was hoping to get a little help with. I am swimming in the deep end without a life preserver.
Bruce
Troubles with Drupal 7?
Bruce,
If you want, you can e-mail me directly or post your the situation/problem you are having with Drupal 7 right here in our group area. Are you doing a brand new install or upgrading from Drupal 6?
~ Brian
Issue
I am doing an upgrade from 6.
d I have run update.php a number of times, each time the number of updates needed went down. After 10 or so runs of update, I finally seem to have most issues taken care of and I can once again access my site. One consistent message I am still getting is
Notice: unserialize() [function.unserialize]: Error at offset 120 of 120 bytes in variable_initialize() (line 749 of /home/content/s/h/e/shelton2/html/includes/bootstrap.inc).
Hmm...
Trying to decide which to go to... I'm planning to go to ONE of them. I guess it will be the Tacoma one? Anyone want to try and convince me otherwise?
Dave
Well DARN IT! Payroll checks
Well DARN IT! Payroll checks weren't printing so I didn't get to go to either one of them :P .
Really hope to see you next time one place or another.
