You are a talented and dedicated software developer proficient with Drupal (not a firm), and competent with mySQL databases, and willing to learn a bit about Ubercart. You are also available to work on a part-time basis.

We are a small company about to roll out a website with over 19 million business listings that allows homeowners to search for local businesses and service providers.

The site is nearing completion, but it seems the closer we get the more the tasks pile up! We need to take on an additional developer to help get us over the hump and complete the site.

You will be working with me, the lead developer, who has a couple years experience working on Drupal sites off-on but is by no means a "ninja". You will be helping me with coding, theming and testing and also help me develop strategies to complete the remaining issues and tasks. There will be a lot of problem solving.

We currently have budget for only 30 hours of work, but will likely have money to spend on many once the site goes live and we start selling listings and ads. If we like the candidate and work well together, we may even extend an ownership offer.

If you have the right skills and experience and can work with me over the phone, we can get started right now!

Principals only, please. No firms.

Amazon: Developer Hours

Larry,

If you are limited by budget to 30 developer hours, we may be able to help you speed up the dev cycle and contain costs. Our support is designed to advise on the topics you mentioned in the development stage, in lieu of hiring another developer (Kieran is one of many experts on our support team that you could be in touch with to make sure your it is optimized, updated and secure).

As you near your launch date, think about getting in touch with me. Regardless of your interest in our services, I don't want to see your project fail and would be happy to run through a checklist of best practices for tuning and hosting with you prior to launch.

If you have any questions, feel free to reach out.

Best,

Matt Bachman
