Drupal 7 Release Party

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

Drupal 7 was released today, and release parties are being planned world-wide on Friday. We should make sure Phoenix and Arizona State University are on the map by throwing a party ourselves! Let's talk about a good place to have it, and if you or your organization have already started planning one, toss in any ideas you might have. It might be fun to mix things up a bit and meet somewhere new. Any ideas?

I understand the Kwall guys (and probably others) are headed out for SandCamp in California, this weekend, and I'm afraid I've got a previously scheduled event this Friday.

I agree with jrbeeman. I'm in Prescott, but would love to be part of a release party in the Valley. Hope this idea picks up some traction.
