Now that Drupal 7 has been released, the obvious question needs to be asked:
Does Pantheon play well with Drupal 7? As I understand, Drupal 7 has incorporated some of the enhancements of Pressflow code, but not ALL.
What will happen on a Pantheon site if running Drupal 7? Will it gain any performance advantage? Will Varnish play well with Drupal 7?
What are the plans for Pantheon and Drupal 7?
Just trying to get ahead of the curve! :-)

I'm also curious about what the roadmap is for Pantheon.
Will there be a Drupal/Pressflow 7 version (perhaps Pantheon 2.0??)

Pantheon support for Drupal 7: ASAP
This is a good question. We actively developed the base system for Panthoen to work with Drupal 7, but were holding off on the last mile (always the hardest) because a number of final issues were up in the air during the beta period.
Now that the official release is upon us, we'll be moving to add D7 support ASAP. Expect an announcement around this sometime later in January. :)

fwiw, there's a P6 - D7
fwiw,
there's a P6 - D7 comparison chart @

one of the primary (not the only?) diffs, says "Multi-layer proxy support" is NOT available in D7.
yet, the bug reference provided, http://drupal.org/node/621748#comment-3085546 says a fix/patch is already committed.
unclear, to me, whether than Jun '10 fix made it into D7 release, and in sufficient form to keep Varnish specifically, and perhaps Pantheon more generally, 'happy'

I'm also very interested in this. I'd love to hear an update when you have a chance, Josh. Hope all is well!
