news using views

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

I have created news block using views but its static...
I want it to move vertical...
Is it possible using views?

Yes, if I understand from your brief post.
Views can pull content dynamically from the content...did you mean that you wanted it to scroll?
Also, please post a URL or a screenshot for better clarity.
