I have "ImageMagick Advanced Options" installed. I go to "site configuration => Image toolkit".
it said "No image toolkits found. Drupal will use PHP's built-in GD library for image handling." I should have imagemagick installed. dont know why no image toolkits found. I remember other web applications you need to specify the imagemagick path. do I have to do the same thing here? if i do, where I am supposed to go to put the path in. please help me out. really appreciate your help.

never mind, i figure out how to install it.
btw, after I got imagemgick toolkit installed, those resized imges are still teh same I couldn't tell quality got improved. how can i tell if I did use imagemagick library instead of gd2.
If the toolkit page says
If the toolkit page says you're using Imagemagick and you can see the version info, everything should be OK. The quality isn't necessarily improved just because you swich to Imagemagick. The sharpness filter etc provided by Imagemagick Advance Options can potentially (will probably) do that though.
Make sure your derivative images are rebuilt after the switch, otherwise you'll only see the old images. That means flushing your Imagecache presets and/or rebuilding Image module's derivative images.
