Ohhhh, how exciting!! How did it go? Hope the Gold Coast Drupal Meet-Up becomes an amazing place for the community to get together!! We're really excited for you guys and to see another Drupal Group spring up is really fantastic! Would love to see something combined with the Brissie mob in the coming months?? :)

Hey Hey!

It went really well I thought. I expected only a few people to show up and we ended up having 9 in total.

The meetup went from 7pm til about 10pm and I believe everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. We have already scheduled in our next meetup in February which will feature an introduction to Drupal night which is something Slurpee (Matthew) suggest we do every so often. I think these nights will be greatly beneficial. You can see our next event at http://groups.drupal.org/node/121789 and also checkout http://www.drupalgoldcoast.com for more information.

I think having a combined event with the Briz-vegas mob would be fantastic. Definitely something to discuss more?
