Gathering Drupalists in Sri Lanka

Hi,

I know we have 21 members and we have very few number of Drupalists in Sri Lanka, I just want to know if any one who is professionally running Drupal services let me know or any one doing Drupal stuff as his job let me know or else if there any who only contributed to the Drupal code? Please post your comments here.

I really want to let more ppl to involve in to the contributions, let me know if you want to contribute to the code and make some reputation or just to improve your skills. If we can gather together and do some sessions we can let experts share all their thoughts with othere members so every one can get somethings know about Drupal and you can start digging more on to Drupal.

That's a great idea. Drupal 7 releasing day will be the best day to make it happen.

oki, lets make it happen!! its very happy to see keep going this and growing Drupal community. Feb 5th u meant? or Feb 4th?. Oki Fen 5th is Saturday and 6th is Sunday. Can you guys meet up on that day?. Still I do not have any plan on 5th or 6th wish I can make it yet.

What shall we discuss? As this is the initial meet up we can introduce our self and just take some step further to make Drupal more popular in Sri Lanka, what else? I think we need Drupal website just like drupal.lk for Sri Lankan Drupal community and we can start doing Druaplcamps, code sprints bla bla.

We can let in one who commented in to this thread and what would be the place to be?

MC food court is good but you cant find the seats on Sundays.anyway i'm in.Heshan please let me know if you need any help in arrangements.

Hi,
This is great idea to popular CMS like Drupal in Sri Lanka.
Lets gather for knowledge sharing.
I think MC-FC is too noisy in weekends and so not good idea for a chat.

Would every one be able to come to the Moratuwa University? I think in Sunday and Saturday you can enter from gate without any issue, cause MSc and MBA students are coming in, we can have FREE WIFI inside the uni.
