Hi,
Just started to test drive the COD - watched the screencast for session adding and scheduling and perhaps I am missing something here. I could not find anything separate which will allow a speaker to register at the site and add sessions their sessions. Also I could not find anything which will allow me to have variable length time slots for concurrent talks in different Rooms/Halls to be more clear if Room A has the first session of 2 hours Room B cannot have 2 1 hour sessions
Apologies if this is something very basic that I have missed

Do you mean a separate registration status for that user that differs from the other registration status? Look into the Signup module documentation, there is some support I think for signup list types.

It's possible by creating varying time slot nodes, but the COD session schedule will not handle that, so you'll need to use a different Views display probably.

Thanks for the reply Coltrane. Yes I needed a separate registration status as well as different profile fields for speakers so that speakers could add their own talks. Also needed a better scheduling app so that varying time slots could be scheduled as well as ical support etc.
All this is I have accomplished :-) now to make a profile so that it can be given away. The only stumbling block I see is that the base is Drupal 6 for now. Wonder if I will be allowed to host it at drupal.org...
