Schedule not working in beta5

I'm trying to update to beta5 from beta3 and hoping to get the drag and drop schedule builder going. But I'm running into an issue wherein the schedule tab no longer appears at all on the Manage event dashboard. Also, simply typing in the location in the URL bar results in an "Access denied" page.

Permissions and features look correct, or at least, identical to beta3 settings where it is accessible just fine.

Is there a setting I am missing or is there a bug?

Any help greatly appreciated.

COD 7.x is in Beta!

Thanks to everyone sprinting this week, we put over 250 combined hours on getting COD into a stable state and released our first beta at Drupalcon Austin!

Major new features from the alphas (Before Jan):

Transitioned from Entity Registration to Ticket module

Having a proper registration system that meets the needs of camps, cons, and non-drupal events has been a source of pain and work-arounds in the 7.x version of COD (and registration in general). The ticket module changes much of this by re-architecting to a data model similar to eventbrite.

COD Sprint Review from NYC Camp

I was somewhat overwhelmed at the amount of people who are trying to use COD, and found out a bit of that first hand this weekend. I'm happy to say beta is coming along very nicely, and we've made some great progress in the past few months...

Thanks to the NYC Camp team for input and showing me how they've used COD for their site, I'm looking forward to integrating their improvements upstream, especially the dashboards. MongoDB was there, Jason working on Ticket Module, and Emilie has written a new base theme for COD based on Omega4.

How to create a Schedule in COD 7?

I've learned a lot about how COD 7 works in the last couple of weeks, still haven't quite figured out the view cod_session_schedule. (This is for the version cod-7.x-1.0-alpha4+1-dev)

The documentation has not quite kept up with the development of this great application, so the existing videos and docs don't help much. I can create all the components of a schedule -- time slots, rooms, sessions, speakers -- but how to get the preview to appear in cod_session_schedule is still an elusive mystery.

Restricting Roles to certain events

Trying out COD, and I see that it has the ability to create multiple events. Problem is, I want the session manager or attendee managers of one even to not be able to see the attendees/other info of other events. Is there any possible way to do it by just playing around with the configuration?

Adding to documentation for COD D7

I am new to Drupal, but will be using COD in my first project at a new job in Boulder, CO. I would be glad to help contribute to documentation, as I work my way up the learning curve. If any of the COD developers would like to point me in the right direction, I'd be glad to help as much as I can; my limitation is that I'm new to Drupal, and still finding my way around it (but I've been programming since 1992, am pretty familiar with PHP, very familiar with databases..)

COD7: Rooms not showing, sessions not in order and problems with flags in views

I'm messing around with cod7, I see that when I create the schedule, sessions are all messed up, they don't show in order and also the rooms don't show at all.

I looked up the views of "session schedule" and compared it to cod6, seems like fields there (inside the views) is not calling the (flag: session_schedule) Flags: Flag link like it does in cod6.
When I tried to add that flag, its not showing up at all in the fields option.
This is how the schedule looks like in my cod7 http://i.imgur.com/LP0J2.png
This is how it should look (cod6): http://drupal.org/files/cod_7_rooms.png

Is COD right for my project?

I'm preparing to manage a project for a conference site, and I was hoping that COD would fit the bill. Looking at it, though, I don't think it will do what I need. However, before giving up on it entirely, I thought I would check with folks here to be sure one way or the other.

Here are the problems I foresee--please let me know if any of these are doable with COD:

  1. This site would be for multiple conferences in multiple locations, ongoing. The COD sites I've seen featured are all one-shot deals focusing on a single conference.
