Connections with Seattle and Vancouver

I notice that there is a Drupal Meetup this thursday in Vancouver/Surrey.

I wonder if there is any interest in going up to events like this in Vancouver or going down to Drupal events in Seattle from time to time?

Any thoughts on how we might step up the conversation about drupal a bit thru cross fertilization/

Surrey Meetup

I usually attend these and they are great. My situation is strange but I do drive up from Blaine occasionally. It's about 45 minutes to the ABC restaurant from Bellingham plus whatever the border time takes.

Surrey Road Trip?

Hi Angus,

I think it would be fun to hop up there to join the Surrey group this Thursday. We've had some interest from members of that group (and others south of there) in coming down here as well, although that hasn't happened yet.

As for our group down here, I'm looking forward to our next meeting, which will be at a restaurant instead of Western! I will send out an announcement as soon as the location is finalized. I still have to review results of the survey regarding preferred dates/times, but so far I think the preponderance of votes is still for 2nd Monday evenings, although personally I'd be happy to switch to a different night for this month.

I have not yet made it to the Abbotsford Drupal meeting. But the last Drupal meeting in Bellingham had 8 people at it and felt like there was some progress being made.
