Thanks to all for coming, and special thanks to brucelet -- both for hosting and for sharing his knowledge on Acquia products Drupal Commons and Drupal Gardens with us. We talked about quite a few things this month, so here's the skinny for those of you who couldn't make it:

First Mondays

We've decided that starting in April 2011, the Pittsburgh and Southwestern PA Drupal Meetup will be held on the first Monday of each month at 7pm. For March, we're going to do it a week early, as Lin Clark will be able to join us and DrupalCon Chicago would conflict with the first monday.

Social Meetups

In addition to the 'official' meetup, we're also encouraging less formal social meetups of Pittsburgh area Drupallers. If there's a place where folks would like to get together and talk shop (or not) just post up an event.

DrupalPGH.org

We need a website. One idea was to build the site through the meetups over a couple of months and use our experience with it to demo different aspects of Drupal 7 at subseqent meetups. Share your Thoughts, or Have a look at the working documentation.

Group Organization

There were several ideas surrounding organization of our user group and growing our attendance and involvement over the next few months. We'd like to get Pgh-area Drupallers engaged and host a DrupalCamp -- or maybe even a DrupalCon -- within the next year. (Well, probably not next year for DrupalCon, but it'd be an awesome opportunity to showcase our city and region to the world). Thoughts on how we should organize ourselves and who should be responsible for what are welcome. We should aim for some decision on this at the April meeting

Publicity!

We want you -- and everyone else in the area who's involved with Drupal -- to join us! Our attendance has been small but growing. We're going to be publicizing the meetings going forward by submitting to the CityPaper, the Pitt News, the Tartan (CMU), possibly Craigslist, and wherever else might be a good place to list something like this. Per usual, suggestions are welcome. Oh yeah, and...

Twitter

You should follow @drupalpgh. Seriously.
