Hi everyone - I finally transcribed the video for the Drupal Camp PDX to the web. Sorry it took so long - I really just did not know how to compress the hour long sessions to fit on the web. I came across Blip.tv by reading a post from the Seattle Drupal Group (relating to their video needs for the upcoming Drupal Camp).

I posted my first video of CCK on my blog: http://www.pairodime.com/articles/company/news/seo-presentation-at-drupa...

They take forever to upload - so I will have to settle on uploading one per night - or if Im not doing much I might have them up by tonight sometime.

Anyways check back in a few days and I should have all 3 videos: CCK, Panels + Views, Drupal Scaling.

If you want the original .mpg4 files - I can bring them to the next meeting - just let me know if that is of interest and I can bring em'

Laters.

Good for a refresher, but maybe not the best tutorial

just and FYI - the audio is not so great and the image clarity to the projector is not that great either - during this first video I was still trying to figure how to get the camera to stay on without powering down from being idle and burning direct to DVD.

Oh well - the other videos coming up next are a bit better cuz I had the tricks down.

Enjoy.

Oh yeah - you can embed this too from blip.tv - follow the link on my blog or if you know of blip.tv - you ccan probably search for it : Portland Drupal Camp CCK

All 3 video sessions are now

All 3 video sessions are now posted on the blog - for some reason - WordPress kept changing my embed script to a <ibed> tag - damn WordPress! After searching source code of the blip.tv I was able to patch the movies back in.

PS - if any of the presenters would like me to take them down - just let me know.

  • Enjoy.
