Hello Guys,

Its been some time we had a meetup. Why don't we plan to meet next Saturday, i.e. 19th Feb 2010 and discuss the activities that we should take up as group in this year.

Below are few points which i propose. Please feel free to add new points

Registering new members in Drupal Hyd Group
Facilitate drupal learning in hyderabad in more structured way
Workshops
Revamp of Drupal Hyderabad website
Contributions to Drupal

Venue: Yet to be decided. I suggest any Cafe Coffee Day near by Panjagutta or Banjara hills. Any others places, please suggest.

Hi,

I am Devakara from Hyderabad.
Sometime back, I just started learning Drupal concepts on my own, but didn't go much deep; I thought its better to have some formal training.
Could you give some information about Drupal (or CMS in general) training institutes in Hyderabad?

Hey Sree,

This meeting has been delayed since last month. Finally we are going to have it this weekend. Not sure if we should postpone more. :)

Are you coming to Hyd next weekend? Even if we have a meeting on 19th, we can still meet again next weekend.

Attendees : C.Pavan Kumar, D.Devakara Raghavendra, B.Sudharshan Redyy, K. Ramakishan, Krishnavasu, Venkat Adapa, Asif noor, Shyam Agarwal, Ipsita Mishra, Prajwala, Rahmanuddin Shaik(tuxnani)

The meetup started with brief introductions and as it was a meet months after, everyone was busy getting to know know-how of each other, and then informal discussions over various issues with regard to drupalcon south asia planned in 2013, drupal performance issues and so on.

Asif started the formal discussion by talking on membership to Drupal Hyderabad. He put forward the need to start awareness among students and developers. A session for Project Leaders, Managers and company personal about harnessing Drupal and other Free and Open Source Software.
Ipsita opined that every month the meet is to be hosted by different person than previous host.
Then an elaborate discussion as to how to revamp and redesign the Drupal hyderabad portal was the central topic and there was an elaborate discussion as to what all things to be put up at the portal.
Events for learning/training Drupal are to be planned and there also plans to have distribution of printed D-7 tutorials.
Finally a call and emphasis to develop , contribute and collaborate Drupal was made.

Drupal Hyderabad portal, beta version available at http://beta.drupalhyderabad.com/ , put your suggestions here as comments
Contribute to the portal development
Collaborate to arrange for tutorial sessions/awareness sessions
Any other point missed out, do mention...
