Objectives:
- To allow 1.x to become bug fixes only and hence be more stable for those who rely on the current featureset.
- To allow "more radical" changes to be put into Storm during the 1.x - 2.x transition. Such as a dependency on views...
Status:
- 2.x is receiving new features as used to happen in 1.x.
- Once the "more radical" changes have gone in, I'll start releasing official packaged releases. It'd be great to have some feedback at that point also about whether it has been worth maintaining multiple branches etc. At that point, we can either keep allowing features in 2.x, or keep moving features onto new branches.
