Hi Folks,
Our next scheduled 2 Dojo's being trumped by other Drupal events, first Dries is talking about the future of media and the Boston Globe on Feb 22 http://meetupbos.hackshackers.com/events/16117997/ and Drupalcon Chicago falls on the other potential Dojo.
We are having our next Boston Drupal Dojo March 22 at 6:30pm. In this Dojo, we will be going over the core modules in Drupal 7, reviewing what each does, and discussing some of the cool new improvements for with this release.
We will then begin planning for our community project, building the website for the 2011 Drupal Design Camp Boston.:
Come join us as we dive in head first to planning our Drupal 7 project!
Please make sure you have a local install of Drupal 7. This meetup consists of investigating core install.

What's Boston Drupal 7 Dojo?
Boston Drupal 7 Dojo is a weekly opportunity to get together with other folks in the local Drupal community to learn, design, and develop D7 sites.
We going to work on D7 projects only so we can all learn together from a developer, designer, admin, and site builder perspective. We may choose a charity or non-profit organization in need of a new website as something we all can work on together.
For the first part of our meetup, we can present something interesting about working on a D7 project. Details are in the making as far as our format.
The word Dojo (道場) captures what we're trying to create -- a place to practice and master one's art. Think of it as a place to become a Drupal blackbelt, a Drupal Ninja.
When?
Second and fourth Tuesdays of the month starting at 6:30p.
Where?
MassChallenge Office, One Marina Park Drive, 14th Floor, Boston, MA 02210. Near the ICA

What if?
What if I don't have a laptop? I don't particularly want to bring my desktop on the T.

Hello, I'm sorry I won't be
Hello,
I'm sorry I won't be able to make it tomorrow... I caught a pretty bad stomach flu/virus over the weekend. I'm feeling better now but it's very contagious (My entire friends/family got it last week) and I wouldn't want to get everyone sick. I am interested in this group though and I'll definitely make it next meeting. Also, do people take notes and post them somewhere after each meeting for people who may have missed it to review?
Thanks,
Siavash
We do post notes for Dojo
Hi Siavash
Yes, we have been keeping notes from our Dojo meetings. We have been posting them as a comment to the event announcement. You can find last time's here: http://groups.drupal.org/node/125214#comment-408019. I don't know if we'll keep operating that way once we're using Open Atrium but I definitely think we should continue to keep notes.
Hope you're feeling better soon!
Sue
