Mini-Calendar with links to the UC Calendar

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

Has anyone suggestions for an existing module that takes an RSS, XML, or iCalendar feed and generates a mini calendar with links to the UC Calendar? I think it's a matter of using the rss feed from the UC Calendar to filter out the active dates and associated hyperlinks to those active dates, then generating the calendar. The site linked below has the exact calendar I'm looking for, however it was created using Wordpress rather than Drupal:

I'm not sure it's possible

I'm not sure it's possible because, as far as I can tell, RSS feeds from the UC Berkeley Events calendar do not actually include the date of the events. (The dates are simply encoded in the item title rather than as a separate field.)

If you could ahold of the actual event dates, you could use Feed API to import the RSS feed directly into an Event node type that you've created. And then you could use Drupal's Calendar module to show the event nodes based on the date field.

Does anyone know if the date field is available in a UCB event feed?

Use the Live Export feed

There are two additional feeds available from the campus calendar: the Live Export XML feed and the iCal feed. You can get access to these by substituting live_export or ical for rss in the feed URL. You can use all the same parameters to define which events are returned in the feed. Both of these feeds have date and time information.
