At Tribal DDB, we've just launched a new site on D6: sustainabilitydrive.com.au. Under an extremely tight deadline mind you (you might have seen some TV ads yesterday and today, which required the site to be launched on time).

There are some interesting features on the site. On the home page there is a form with a Forms API autocomplete that looks up the Google Maps API on the fly.

If you feel like entering your street in the competition (and feel free to!), you'll get to a form that asks you to add photos and videos. This form is using AJAX submit/loading of about 6 separate forms using the Chaos tools suite.

I'll be presenting on the AJAX tools in Ctools on Tuesday night at the Melbourne meetup.

Cheers
Simon

Would love to learn more about CTools and how you did it. Shame I can't make it.

Maybe next month

I might have to drop the ctools part and just do a brief case-study of the site. I haven't had much chance to prepare unfortunately, because working on it.

Sime +1 for posting link to slides/notes here when done.
I assume this is the one where video_upload was discussed? Did you end up going that way?

I can't remember why I didn't

I can't remember why I didn't use video_upload. Everything was rushed so if it didn't work I switched my approach. The final combination was:

Upload element for the custom forms. Really impressed with that one.
Media mover - framework for processing files.
Media youtube - extends media mover.
Embedded media field - CCK integration.

Nuts, this would have been

Nuts, this would have been perfect for me at the moment, shame I also can't make the meeting... Simon I'd love to have a chat with you and/or Chris about the site, any of you about for a Coffee in Melbourne some time soon?
