It looks like Palantir has made the source for the DrupalCon mobile app available on github: https://github.com/palantirnet/drupalcon_mobile

Thanks for the link - now to simplify....
I downloaded the code and looked at it in titanium. I am working my through all the resources. It seems to be a fantastic example, with local storage of a remote db etc. For noobs like me, it would be really great to see a simplified version of this, or a deconstructed version, breaking out the individual sections - the services calls, the populating a local db froma remote db etc.
Many thanks to the folks at Palantir for making this available!!
have you had any luck getting
have you had any luck getting this to work? the persistent store seems to work great, but I don't think the remote feed is live any more
What server are they using?
indeed, this does seems like a great example. I'm a little confused as to what service they are using. Is data being sent via JSON? or is a different server being used?
It looks like it is using
It looks like it is using services 3.x isn't it?
This is great, I will definitely check the code thoroughly.
Oooops, Wish I had seen this earlier!
When we created the app it was using a module called Views Datasource module, I think. Services does this just fine now, and in fact I am writing a new app for the Pacific Northwest Drupal Summit that uses Services, which I will hopefully be getting the code available pretty soon.
Thanks!
