I do not care about the CMS platform. Actually it is the way you handle it to develop your website that matters the most. Today contents in a website is the key.

If your contents are poor, then no matter what your site will never be on the top (for long run). Also, please note, google cannot favour any CMS platform, it only favours content and the way they are organized.

While this is true, my observation from using various CMS over the years is that some are better set up to let you implement some of the basic SEO best practices.

Google doesn't favor any CMS, but it does favor a site that is SEO optimized, and some CMS make that easier.

I didn't read the article. Just wanted to offer a different perspective to your comment.
