In case anyone was thinking of participating but procrastinating, Open Source Bridge proposals are still being accepted through end of day March 31st. As a now-established homegrown event, OSB seems like a natural way to participate more in the broader community and an easy way to do some of that outreach everyone has been talking about :)

I just wanted to second these comments about Open Source Bridge. I think it could be argued that there is no better open source convention in town for us Drupallers to get exposed to, aside from the PNW Drupal Summit of course. They have a similar mix of programming, design, PM, networking, etc, as well as plenty of fun stuff and fill-in-the-blanks stuff. Just an aside that a lot of their programming is more generic, by design (see last year's program for examples), so I think you're more likely to get a talk accepted with a topic of, "Why your organization needs a CMS" rather than "Why your organization needs Drupal." Also, this convention is more social and really features shared spaces as well as interesting programming. Attendees seemed to have a good time, as well as learn.
