Hello to all the DC Drupalers!
April's meetup is quickly approaching and I'm getting presentation requests. This month so far we have Ted Stein discussing his recently contributed module TwitterMiner and Will White & Eric Gundersen will demo TileMill and show you how to get it running on a Drupal site!
So if you are interested in showcasing your Drupal site or taking us through your new favorite module, let me know and we'll get you on the schedule.
The DC Drupal meetups are open to everyone with an interest in Drupal and are a great opportunity to learn more about what Drupal can do and what folks are building with it.
When/Where:
Monday, April 11, 7-9pm
Stetson's Famous Bar & Grill
1610 U St, NW
Upstairs
Washington, DC 20009
See you there!

Akamai buying drinks tonight
Yes the rumor is true. Ok...it's not much of a rumor as Betsy announced this at the last Meet Up. But to "confirm"...Akamai will be buying drinks at tonights meeting. I'll open a tab from 7:00 - 9:00 at the upstairs bar. Please order/drink responsibly. This means NO umbrella drinks and NO drinking & driving.
See you all tonight!
WOOHOO!
Lobster-tinis for everyone!
Tonight
Thanks again to Akamai and I'm looking forward to seeing everyone tonight!
See you soon.
Betsy

As promised, I posted a blog post about using TileMill in Drupal sites. The docs cover mostly everything we mentioned during our demo on Monday night. http://developmentseed.org/blog/2011/apr/13/how-use-custom-tilemill-maps...
