I'd like to go to DrupalCamp if I can but I'm having trouble with the logistics. One big hurdle is that I am not good at driving in big cities. Is there anyone that's anywhere near Holmen, WI (La Crosse) that would let me hitch a ride for gas money? If you're closer to La Crosse than the Cities but don't want that extra drive down, I'd be willing to drive up to meet you at your starting point as long as there's a place I could park for the duration.
My other hurdle is child care so this may be moot but I'm trying to work on both issues in tandem. :)

I'd be glad to give you a ride into the cities, but I can't go -- I already have an event planned for those days, and I'm on the planning board for it (Fighting Bobfest North) so I won't be able to make it to Drupalcamp.

That would be great if you could! I really want to go and it probably seems silly to others that my fear of driving in big cities is holding me back but it really is quite terrifying to me. I've done it before when I've had to for work years ago but it's horrible and my fear has only gotten worse in the years since.

I'm coming from Milwaukee and I'm trying to decide if I should do Greyhound or MegaBus. They both claim to have WiFi on "select routes" but I can't seem to find confirmation if the route up to Minneapolis has it. You don't happen to know?

I think they do
In March I took the Greyhound Express bus from Milwaukee to Minneapolis and it had Wi-Fi. In fact, the last three Greyhound buses I've taken had Wi-Fi and power, but I can't confirm that they all do. It's tough to get an answer from Greyhound, but I think most of them do have Wi-Fi.

I don't think I'm up for it, either, to be honest, and I had no idea how I was going to manage to rendevous in Eau Claire and park my car somewhere safe when I've only ever been to Eau Claire once or twice and that was years ago. I think I was grasping at straws. :) I'd really love to go, especially since going to the one in Colorado has fallen thru, but it's not gonna happen unless there's someone that can get me in Holmen and take me back there again.
