Hello,
We, at Vinayras Infotech, has been experimenting with Drupal 7, we have some website under development using Drupal 7.
One among them is www.ebharatbase.com - a database of indian companies. Still into early days of development.
I would like to hear from other developers - their thoughts on creating websites using Drupal 7

Drupal7 brings along with it some new concepts , new functions for retrieving data and powerful performance increment.
Making a website in d7 is great but one should keep in mind many modules are not compatible with d7. Many of the modules which provide d6 much flexibility are not compayible with d7 .

Sorry for replying so late, just saw this post now.
Drupal 7was not ready for large scale reliable websites - and were fully aware of that. But we ventured into it, partially to build something in D7, and partially to forcibly learn Drupal 7. We did face lots of problems initially
At this point, Drupal 7 has become more stable and enterprise ready. And i see lots of modules are now available for D7 also.
