Apologies for the very late reminder. Our monthly meetup is scheduled for tomorrow and we have 2 presentations being given plus we'll be have a mentoring period as well.

Venue Details
The ABC Centre has some security issues, so it is important that people arrive early and sign in at the security desk so that we can take everyone into the building at once. Everyone just waits and chats in the lobby, so just look around for us if you're new. If you have problems you can call either of us. Many thanks go to the ABC for providing this venue.
Parking is possible at parking meters around Thomas street and Mary-Anne street. But they take a 2 hour max i think. There are carparks behind the ABC $15 (enter from Thomas street, but on the Chinatown side). Also, you can get all-evening parking at the Citigate (I think that's the name) parking station for (updated) $10 (starting after 5pm, I think, and stays open until well after midnight). It's at the end of the Thomas street dead end (Eastern/Chinatown side), which is very close to the ABC's back entrance.

Drupal training
Hi Ryan,
I'm very new to drupal and need someone to give me some hands on training. This is a paying proposition, an hourly rate would be negotiated.
I have a few books and currently work with a CMS and have completed some other training but I would like to fast-track learning Drupal.
I am currently based at Darlington during the day but I can meet people anywhere.
I can't make it to the meeting tonight but joining the group is clearly a good idea.
Please pass on my email to anyone who is interested. I estimate that I would need between 15 to 25 hours of training to learn what I need to learn. This is my estimate so you have an idea of the commitment I am looking for, of course the rate at which I learn will probably be the result of efforts on both sides!

Hi Gerard,
I've sent through some details for you. I would definitely recommend joining the group since you will likely find much of the help you need there. We also usually run some larger events where people can learn larger amount of Drupal but we haven't had much calling for one until recently.
If other people are interested, I can look into running a Drupal Day or Camp event that can focus on get new people up to speed. Just let me know if you're interested.
