that's awesome, I am so looking forward to this! I might point out to my fellow Americans that a trip like this is tax-deductible :)

Are there any session topics you've heard requests for that aren't filled yet? And it's ok if we present in English right?

you know drush and its functionality on drupal 7 would be a great topic, and yes you can do your presentation in english
