Hello all,
I am curious how many of us are full time Drupal developers?? I personally am not. I use Drupal for a large collection of services on the network at my day job and I moonlight working with businesses across the Island to leverage Drupal for their web needs.

Definitely full time!
I've been a full-time Drupal developer for a while. At my current job I'm do all things Drupal as a consultant. Previously I worked at Columbia University which basically started as a web design job and kind of turned into full-time site architecture/development gig. Not a bad way to get into it!
50 percent and growing
We've been building Drupal sites for about two years. All of our legacy sites are still being maintained as is, but when a client wants to upgrade we try to use Drupal. All new projects are reviewed with Drupal in mind. Right now I'm hoping to use D7 but it still may be a little fresh for prime time. We are redoing our website in D7 and are having some issues that I wouldn't want to have to explain to a client. D6 is really solid, even if a little uglier on the back end.

Nice.. glad to hear that Drupal is growing in our area of the world!! We have been integrating Drupal into a bunch of operational areas of our business. Most of my users are unaware that they are touching Drupal... but it has turned into a great tool for sharing and collaborating with various departments. I have looked at solutions outside of the open source space that advertise similar capabilities for lots of $$$ with the added benefit of vendor lock in... not cool!!
I agree @inetmedia I have been playing with D7 but as with all Drupal releases the large amount of modules we rely on are really are not ready for prime time in D7... unfortunately.

our site is drupal 6
I work as the project manager for our Drupal 6 site since Jan 2010. I manage the development teams. Drupal is a part of my job but a big part. I'm looking forward to the meet up!

I manage a C++ dev. shop for my day job. This stuff is a serious sideline for me.
In fact, the Drupal module I wrote is only one of three. I have a cross-CMS class that I subclass into CMS-specific implementations.
