Let's take another shot at getting something going with the Chicago community. Maybe we should try for something next month? Please respond here with preferred locations, times and days.

How about Gamewerks in Schaumburg? Makes it easy for people coming from the western suburbs (batavia) such as me, and also makes it fairly easy for people to get to from the city? Kinda of a middle ground for everybody?

Let's not schedule it at the same time as the monthly ChiPHP meeting again. :-) That is normally the 3rd Wednesday of the month in downtown (we currently meet in the building with the weird angled top, that looks like it was cut off weirdly), but next month we'll have a guest speaker who isn't available Wednesday so we'll be meeting on Monday instead.
All are welcome. :-)
What if both meetings were same date and location.
I host the chicago dorkbot meetings at 7:00PM and the chicago_pd users group at 9:00PM back to back on the day in the same place. It works out quite nicely. People can kill to community events with one stone.
as PHP and Drupal are so closely intertwined, might be a good way to attact a crowd and cross-fertilize.
Just a thought. Seeing as how I've never been to either (my bad.) I'm not sure how feasible that really is.
