BarCamp Nashville is an open-source gathering of technology enthusiasts who come together for one weekend to share what they know and learn what they don’t. It is an intense event with discussions, demos and interaction from attendees.
We are expecting this to be one of the largest BarCamp gatherings in the Nation! Don't Miss out!

Any thoughts on whether
Any thoughts on whether there would be enough Drupal interest there for an Ubercart session to make sense? We're just a couple hours away in Louisville, KY and might be able to come down for the day. Besides, my wife and I have family in Nashville that might like to see us. : )

Ryan, I attended your Ubercart session at DrupalCon Boston, it was great stuff! I'm not sure if there are a lot of Drupalers here in Nashville that would immediately recognize Ubercart... actually, there aren't a whole lot of Drupalers here yet at all (which is something we are trying to fix). I think your presentation could definitely raise a lot interest in Ubercart and Drupal in general though, so it would be awesome for you to do your presentation at the Nashville BarCamp.

There is a growing interest in drupal here in Nashville so it would be great to have some drupal specific sessions at barcamp. I have been meaning to investigate Ubercart so I'd definitely attend.

I appreciate the responses (hehe - even the "What is Ubercart?" response), but I just realized I'll be unavailable that weekend. My brother is getting married the Saturday before and I'll have family at my place from the wedding on the 18th. So... I won't be able to make it, but I'm pretty sure other Uberdevs are interested in attending.
I'll make sure to share the slides. ; )
fwiw, I think this is an awesome idea and I would've loved to attend. Maybe next year... and maybe we can get a barcamp here in Louisville in the meantime.
