This is my 2nd drupal site but this one requires a lot of coding, it is about an ecard module where visitors can create their own ecards (ecard has several templates) and they can get to pay for it using a shopping card (I was thinking ubercart).
So for an ecard, I would guess I would have to create it as a 'node' right? ea. ecard node can select a template (also a node?). Ecards can also have several pages (this makes things more complicated, so I would guess to use some kind of parent->child node relationship).
Any suggestions will be highly appreciated, also I am looking for someone to assist me here so if you are available we can discuss business to help complete this module. Please contact me here :)

Yes I could consider adding it to my list, I probably would not be ready until after the 15th as I am preparing for a site launch on that day. But after could do some work on the project for you. Is this for a d6 or d7 site?

Can you message me the price for the work?
This is currently running in d7 btw, but not much is done yet so a switch to d6 can also be done... I see that uc node checkout can be a problem here since it's only for d6 at the moment.

it wont necessarily be an issue I have a couple customers looking for uc_node_checkout in d7 so this will be an added reason for me to do some code work for it.

Oh ok, I've sent you a pm btw. For now I am working on the site, whatever is not done by the 15th maybe you can help me out. It would be great if you can send me the rate & time early to see if my budget permits it.
Commerce module
I've found something interesting... which seems to be a fork of the ubercart module - commerce http://drupalcommerce.org/
The products now allow the use of fields, product types too. I like it's flexibility but it seems to be still in beta. With this, maybe we won't need the uc node module...

it is a fork from uc, or a group that broke from them. It is still early and I rather like the stability that i have had in ubercart sites in the past. we will have to watch it close

yeah, the 'beta' is scary and may cause delays. I will have to ask my client about this if they wanted the lower version of drupal instead but may be troublesome to switch later on if they wanted commerce on d7....

It's the 15th now cmcintosh, I still haven't heard your hourly rate or a quick estimate on the project. Let me know if you have the time or not. Are you based in Manila btw?
