Hey everyone.
So I'm working on my secnd drupal site, and while the first experience with drupal was pleasant and amazingly streamlined, this application is proving to be a bit more difficult. My first application was pretty much the perfect application for Drupal, and this second one should be just as easy, but I'm not having much luck.
Anyways, the short is I've got a structure for how I want content sorted and to be displayed on the webpage. It will be primarily functioning solely as an informative webpage with different content types, and only myself as a user. In the future I made add user types who can post different types of content, but that will be it. It's not a social site.
I've attempted to use views and a few other methods for displaying the content organization I have, and I haven't had much luck. Now, I'm also not the kind of person who learns well from reading things and trying to apply them, so my efforts with documentation and other peoples advice on the web really hasn't panned out well.
I'd like to meet with some one fairly versed in drupal for some help. I know what I'm doing can't be that difficult because it's the most basic of content management applications as far as I can tell. I think what's making it difficult is Drupal is used to handling far more complex applications. The meeting shouldn't take that long either.
Beer and lunch or dinner will be on me for your help. Resteraunt or pub of your choice, as long as I don't go broke over the whole ordeal.

I work in the Lloyd Center area, and I'd be glad to get together for lunch sometime if you want to come out this way.

Awsome. Where out there would you like to meet?
That's biking distance to me so I'm there. I can bring my laptop as well.
