Upgrading to Drupal 7 has caused my lots of problems including getting a whole page of error messages whenever I turn on Taxonomy module. I attached the error messages below. Can anyone told me what I shall do? I am not an software engineer so the message is confusing. Thanks!

Susan

Me too, But solved.

I had the same issue and found more information here: http://drupal.org/node/934726

To sum up, the problem seems to be caused by having Tags hidden in the teaser part of content.

The solution is to go to each type of content type you have (blog post, basic pages etc) and then go to "manage display" followed by "teaser."

Change the settings for "tags" to "inline" and "Link" and the problem disappears.

Not sure why or how, but I was grateful that it worked!

Problem solved!

Hi, Mikecj,

I did as you suggested and the error messages have all disappeared. Many many thankssss!

This worked for me too

I don't know why it worked, but setting all the taxonomy fields anything but "hidden" on BOTH the default and teaser display settings seemed to kick this error for me.

After all the taxonomy fields were made visible on both display types, I could then make them hidden again without the error reappearing.

I don't understand why, but I bet it was an upgrade problem for me from D6 to D7. Some value of the taxonomy fields wasn't migrated properly and manually resetting the display settings for the fields seems to have reset that value.

Hope this is helpful to someone.

Being the least "techie" user of Drupal there is, it's a joy to have finally been able to help someone on here! You're very welcome.

This worked for me too on

This worked for me too on drupal 7, thanks. Though it wasn't on teaser, it was on the default view

Doesn't work if I re-hide Taxonomy fields

I would get this message when I tried previewing content being edited or created.

I took a content type that was not working (Pages) and made the Taxonomy fields all visible. When I went to Preview it showed up! I changed it for the Default and Teaser views.

I tried re-hiding one field and immediately I got the error message again.

This was a site that was upgraded D6 to D7 (actually D5 to D6 to D7)
