Hi Guys,
All the experience I have with Drupal is on Linux with PHP and mySQL. I'm working on
a project were the client has an old server, Intel Pentium 4 3.2 GHz CPU 2GB RAM
with Windows Server Standard 2003. And I'm wondering if I continue with their setup
I'm I entering a "world of pain"? Is there a big difference working on a Windows machine compare
to linux when working with Drupal?
Thanks,
Manolis

Make sure on Apache
We develop most of the Drupal projects on Window platform and deploy to Linux server when live. Drupal is working fine on Windows however may be a little slower than on Linux (not sure if it is because our Windows development platform is not dedicated for web :-).
However, one thing should be aware; never try PHP and MySQL with IIS. This combination is very slow. I can't imagine how bad it could result if running Drupal on it. Stick with Apache if you want to use Drupal, PHP and MySQL.
Problem: Drupal Authentication with Active Directory
Dear all,
I have a problem when I configure Drupal7 to Authentication with Active Directory windows server 2003
and later than I log in to drupal by using the user in AD but I get the error messages:
" Another user already exists in the system with the same email address. You should contact the system administrator in order to solve this conflict.
Sorry, unrecognized username or password. Have you forgotten your password?"
I really need help from you all. Please help me!
Thank you in advance
