Tuning in to nysenate.gov to watch the live stream of the vote on same-sex marriage last night, I got this message:

Makes me proud to be a queer drupaler living in NY.

Yes It Did!!!
The house had already passed it by wide majority, but the Republican controlled senate passed it 33-29. We thank the 4 GOP senators for showing the other Republicants that they CAN! And the best thing is that NY doesn't have a initiative system in place like in CA so it can't be undone by referendum.
