Hi,
I was wondering if any one could share how they've gotten D7 with clean urls and mutisite working in Lighttpd? Any success with out LUA? The most relevant documentation that I can find is here:
http://benclark.com/archive/201006/how-to-run-multisite-drupal-on-lighttpd
However it's still not working for me, I have custom .conf files for each domain, so I'm not sure if I should just edit the main domain .conf, or create separate .conf's for each multisite?
Thanks!

I have clean URLs working on a single site while using lighttpd. Even though yours is a multisite this "url.rewrite-if-not-file" addition to lighttpd.conf of mine may help:

Please look at the posting titled "No Markdown Posting" where my latest version is. This is currently the last posting on the page.
Also, I am still using Drupal 6 because many of the modules I use have not been upgraded to it yet. My expectation is that it will work for Drupal 7.

Hi spflanze,
Thanks! But I guess I should have been more direct, I'm having issues with vhosts and Drupal 7 multisite, clean urls are working just fine for me.

Although I do not yet have a Drupal multisite working I do have VHost working in Lighttpd. I manage these using the Froxlor control panel:
http://www.froxlor.org/
A workaround shell script I created that fixes Froxlor created lighttpd and bind9 config files is necessary for me to use Froxlor. This is because Froxlor support for lighttpd currently has too many bugs for it to function. The developers have been careless in their support for lighttpd. I have posted this workaround shell script at:
http://forum.froxlor.org/index.php?/topic/1068-froxlor-921-fixit-script/...
Froxlor can be set up to execute it automatically after it makes changes to the config files and before the config files are reloaded. Instructions on how to do this are also in the post.
